Input/Output
Input/Output
The Input/Output features are common across multiple Modes and Measurements. These common
features are described in this section. See the Measurement description for information on features that
are unique.
The Input/Output key accesses the softkeys that control the Input/Output parameters of the instrument.
In general, these are functions associated with external connections to the test set, either to the inputs or
the outputs. Since these connections tend to be fairly stable within a given setup, in general, the
input/output settings do not change when you Preset the test set.
Other functions related to the input/output connections, but which tend to change on a measurement by
measurement basis, can be found under the
Trigger and AMPTD Y Scale keys. In addition, some of the
digital I/O bus configurations can be found under the
System key.
NOTE The functions in the Input/Output menu are "global" (common) to all Modes
(applications). But individual Input/Output functions only appear in a Mode if
they apply to that Mode. Functions that apply to a Mode but not to all
measurements in the Mode may be grayed-out in some measurements.

The Input Port selection is the first menu under the
Input/Output key:
Key Path: Front-panel key
Remote Command: [:SENSe]:FEED RF|AIQ|EMIXer
[:SENSe]:FEED?
Example: :FEED RF
:FEED?
Couplings: The [:SENSe]:FEED RF command turns the calibrator OFF
Preset: This setting is unaffected by a Preset or power cycle. It survives a Mode Preset
and mode changes.
It is set to RF on a "Restore Input/Output Defaults" or "Restore System
Defaults->All"
State Saved: Saved in instrument state
