6.9.8. PRESSURE CALIBRATION
A sensor at the exit of the sample chamber continuously measures the pressure of the sample gas. This data is
used to compensate the final SO
2
concentration calculation for changes in atmospheric pressure when the
instrument’s TPC feature is turned on (refer to Section 10.7.3) and is stored in the CPU’s memory as the test
function PRES (also viewable via the front panel).
Ensure to use a barometer that measures actual barometric pressure.
To cause the analyzer to measure and record a value for PRES, access the Signal I/O from the DIAG Menu
(refer to Figure 6-17), then press:
