4.16.2 Changing the scroll rate
The scroll rate is used to control the speed of scrolling when auto scroll is enabled. Scroll rate defines
how long each display variable will be shown on the display. The time period is defined in seconds
(e.g., if scroll rate is set to 10, each display variable will be shown on the display for 10 seconds). The
valid range is from 0 to 10 seconds.
To change the scroll rate:
With the EDD, refer to Figure 4-17.
With bus parameters, refer to Figure 4-18.
With ProLink II, refer to Figure 4-19.
With the display, refer to Figure B-13.
4.16.3 Changing the update period
The update period (or display rate) parameter controls how often the display is refreshed with current
data. The default is 200 milliseconds. The range is 100 to 10,000 milliseconds. The update period
value applies to all displayed process variables.
To change the update period:
With the EDD, refer to Figure 4-17.
With bus parameters, refer to Figure 4-18.
With ProLink II, refer to Figure 4-19.
With the display, refer to Figure B-13.
4.16.4 Changing the off-line password
The off-line password prevents unauthorized users from gaining access to the off-line menu.
To change the off-line password:
With the EDD, refer to Figure 4-17.

With the display, refer to Figure B-13.

The display can be configured to use any of the following languages for data and menus:
English

•German
Spanish
To change the display language:
