Database Administration Installation Guide
Step 5 When the product installation menu appears, type 1 to install the servers.
Note
Option 2 is for users who want to install the PATROL DB-Admin KM.
See Chapter 6, “Setting up the Server for Event Monitoring by the
Knowledge Module,” for details.
Step 6 Select the packages to install as follows:
6.A Type the number that corresponds to each of the packages that
you want to install, or press
Enter to install the default packages
(indicated in brackets). Separate each number with a space.
6.B Type y to confirm that you want to install the packages listed.
Step 7 Type the numbers corresponding to the databases that you want to
support. Separate each number with a space.
Step 8 Enter the server port number information as follows:
8.A Type the service port number, or press Enter to use the default
service port number (1313).
Note
You might need to specify a value other than the default (1313), based on
your site requirements. Also, if you want to allow the 3.0.01 server to
coexist with a 2.2.0x version server, make sure to specify a port number
other than the one you are presently using for the 2.2.0x server.
8.B Type y to confirm the service port number.
Step 9 Type the full path name to the directory where the Database
Administration product will be installed. (Use the displayed default, if
possible.)
