PATROL DB-Alter for DB2 for OS/390
The PATROL DB-Alter for DB2 product is a tool for administering and
altering database objects. It can also migrate database objects and data
among other databases. With PATROL DB-Alter, users can perform the
following tasks:
• alter or migrate database objects:
— use an editor window to change database objects
— analyze the impact of the proposed changes
— generate a script that will implement the changes
— schedule the execution of the script to implement the database
object changes
• execute ad hoc SQL commands
• manage privileges and roles for users
• manage plans, packages, and collections
• perform utility operations
• edit table data
PATROL DB-Change Manager
With the PATROL DB-Change Manager product, database administrators
(DBAs), system administrators, and developers can globally manage user
applications and individual database objects. The product also
streamlines the process of managing changes to data structures across
your entire business enterprise. You can use PATROL DB-Change
Manager to compare objects, sessions, or baselines, and perform
synchronization, versioning, and recovery of your data structures.
