Database Administration Installation Guide
You can specify a new location for the lockfiles by editing the
patroldb.ini file, and adding a LockDirectory entry in the [System
Parameters] section. If this entry is found and the directory is valid,
the server writes the lockfiles to that location. You must restart the server
to activate this change.
Note
BMC Software recommends that all coexisting servers be configured to
use the same location for their lockfiles.
