Table 5-4 lists the directories and files that are installed in
$PATROL_HOME or the PATROL3-2/lib default directory if you selected
to install the PATROL DB-Admin KM.
Port Lockfiles
Port lockfiles contain information about the running servers and their
current state. By default, the lockfiles are located in the directory set by
the TMP or TEMP environment variable. This is the recommended
configuration.

These files also list values for all of the specified
server parameters, as well as version information.
