Disassembly - All Frame Styles
1. Remove the hex screws, coved washers and
locknuts that secure the seat adjustment plates
to the seat frame.
Short and Medium Frames Only:
NOTE: When short and medium seat frames are
in their FORWARD POSITION ONLY (15 and 17-
inches respectively), the rear outside coved
washers, button screws and locknuts of the rear
arm brackets will NOT be used. The back cane
mounting brackets will mount over the top of
the rear arm brackets (FIGURE 1). Retain the un-
used coved washers, button screws and lock-
nuts for future use.
1. If assembling the short and medium seat frames
into the forward position, remove the REAR but-
ton screws and locknuts that secure the rear
arm brackets to the seat frame.
Reassembly - All Frame Styles
1. Reposition the back canes to the desired seat
depth and reassemble.

WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and
BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware
is tightened securely - otherwise injury or dam-
age may result.

NOTE: This procedure refers to NON-RECLINER
seat frames only. For recliner seat frames, refer
to PROCEDURE 9 of this manual.
WARNING
Changing the seat depth of the wheelchair
changes the stability of the wheelchair. To main-
tain stability, reposition the rear wheels towards
the rear of the wheelchair BEFORE using the
wheelchair.
To maintain the stability of the wheelchair when
moving the rear wheels to ANY forward posi-
tion, the amount of tilt MUST be limited by ad-
justing the limit stops on the gas cylinders to
prevent the wheelchair from tipping onto the
anti-tippers.
