Explanation How To Respond
The test was not
successful. An error was
detected during the
analysis sequence.
1. Remove the old test
strip.
2. Insert a new test strip.
If the error occurs
again, record the three-
digit error code and
contact MediSense
Customer Care.
Press 2 to exit to the Test
Menu.
The test strip
malfunctioned or the
blood glucose level is
beyond the measuring
capabilities of the system.
1. Remove the used test
strip.
2. Insert a new test strip.
3. Press 1 to continue
testing with a new test
strip.
4. If the error appears
again, confirm the
result by performing a
laboratory reference
test. Contact
MediSense Customer
Care.

114, 116-118)
(Error codes 113, 115)
If the Scan button is
pressed and the laser has
been on for a total of 60
seconds in the last 15
minutes, the monitor will
beep and display Laser
on Time Exceeded.
Turn the monitor off and
wait 15 minutes for the
laser time to reset.
Note: Remember to
release the Scan button
before trying to rescan.
During the test, battery
power was too low for
testing.
Do one of the following:
• Install new batteries. See
Maintenance for more
information.
• Place the monitor in the
docking station (if the
system has this option).
Press 1 to exit.
