Engine idling speed:
1,450 1,550 r/min
4. Adjust:
D Engine idle speed
Adjustment steps:
D Turn the pilot screw

until it is lightly seated.
D Turn the pilot screw out by the specified num-
ber of turns.
Pilot screw:
1-7/8 turns out
D Turn the throttle stop screw
2
in or out until
the specified idling speed is obtained.
Turning in ! Idling speed is increased.
Turning out ! Idling speed is decreased.
5. Adjust:
D Throttle cable free play
Refer to “THROTTLE CABLE FREE
PLAY ADJUSTMENT” section.

engine idling speed should be adjusted.

3 5 mm at throttle grip flange
2. Adjust:
D Throttle cable free play
Adjustment steps:
Never accelerate the throttle when stopping the
engine.
