4. Fan motor (inspection 1)
f Disconnect the fan motor couplers.
fCconnect the battery as shown.
Battery (+) lead ! Blue terminal
Battery (–) lead ! Black terminal

f Check the fan motor operation.
Replace fan motor.

5. Fan motor (inspection 2)
f Turn the main switch to on.
f Remove the thermo switch lead from thermo
switch.
f Connect jumper lead to thermo switch
leads.
f Turn the main switch to on.
The wiring circuit from battery to fan motor is
faulty. Repair.

6. Thermo switch
f Remove the thermo switch from the radiator.
f Connect the pocket tester (Ω 1) to the
thermo switch .
f Immerse the thermo switch in the water
.
f Check the thermo switch for continuity.
Measure temperatures while heating the
coolant with the temperature gauge .
