A
lign the set screw with the screw stop and then tighten it so
that there is no play in the work clamp lifter lever. Check tha
t
the work clamp lifter lever moves smoothly.
Place the slide block onto the pin of the work clamp
lifter lever. The pin and the surface of the slide
block should be aligned.
While aligning the slide block with the groove in the
work clamp lifter plate assembly, pass the work clamp
lever shaft B through the work clamp lifter lever.
NOTE:
When the work clamp lifter plate assembly is
lowered, the slide block moves away, so hold the
work clamp lifter plate assembly in place until the
link shoulder screw is tightened.
