6.3.3OxygenDisplayUnits
Thetoplineofthedisplaythatshowstheoxygenmeasurementcanbedisplayedineither%orppm
(seechapter5.2OxygenDisplayUnits)
6.3.4DampingFactor
Theoxygenmeasurementcanbedampedbyaveragingsuccessivereadingsfromtheprobe.Thiswill
smooth out fluctuations in the process gas level and will slow down the reaction time of the
transmitter.Thelargerthenumberselectedhere,themoresuccessivereadingsareaveragedandthe
smootherthe measurementwillbe. The dampedoxygenvalue isalsousedin thecalculationofall
otherparametersthatarebasedontheoxygenvalue.
6.3.5ProcessAlarms
This function allows the operator to enable and disable process alarms. The process alarm menu
functions will also be hidden if the process alarms are disabled. (See also chapter 7.2.19, Process
Alarms)
