5.DISPLAYANDKEYPAD
Operatorinteractionwiththeoxygentransmitterisdonethroughagraphicaldisplayand8keyson
thefrontofthecase.ThefiveLEDindicatorsareusedtoshowthestatusofthetransmitterandto
alerttheoperatorofanyerrors.
Eachofthekeyshasadualfunction;
TheBLACKtextprintedonthekeyisthefunctionwhilethetransmitterisintheRUNmode
The WHITE text printed on the key is the function in one of the three configuring menus, (SETUP,
COMMISSIONINGandCALIBRATION)
Themenudrivenmodesareaccessedbypressing,andinsomecasesholdingdown,theSETUPkey
(seechapters 6, 7and 8 for details of thesemodes).The transmitter will return to the RUN mode
whentheSETUPkeyispressedagain,orif60secondshaselapsedsincethelastkeywaspressed
.
5.1GraphicalDisplay
InRUNmodethe9060Zshowsthefirstoxygenprobemeasurementinlargecharactersatthetopof
thedisplayandauserselectablelowerlineinsmallercharactersbelow.Otheritemsonthedisplay
includetheactivityheartbeatindicatorinthetoprightcorner,arowofsingleletteractionindicators
inthebottomleftcornerandthecurrenttimeinthebottomrightcorner.
InSETUPmodetheRUNdisplayisreplacedwithamenudriveninterface.Allotherfunctionsofthe
transmitter(reading,calculatingandtransmittingetc)asidefromthekeypadanddisplaywillcontinue
tooperateasnormal.
