ERROR POTENTIAL PROBLEM WHAT TO DO
1.
Repeat the test with a new test strip and:
Check the test strip expiration date. Do not use
test strips beyond the expiration or discard
date.
The meter detected
a problem with the
test strip.
Professional Use:
Test the sample with an alternate method.
While awaiting results:
Compare the colour of the test strip confirmation dot
to the Colour Chart on the test strip vial label. If the
glucose level is very low (2.8 mmol/L) or very high
(19.4 mmol/L), take appropriate precautions
immediately.
Before retesting verify that the sample hematocrit is
within range.
