Market
Android Market provides access to downloadable applications and
games to install on your phone. Android Market also allows you to
provide feedback and comments about an application, or flag an
application that might be incompatible with your phone.
Before using the Android Market you must have a Google
Account. For more information, refer to “Using Gmail” on page 84.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Market
.
2. The first time you sign in, the Android Market Terms of
Service will be displayed. Tap
Accept
to continue or
Decline
to exit.
3. Choose Apps, Games or Movies and follow the on-screen
instructions to download applications, games or movies.
Note:
To use any downloaded market application that requires a USB
connection between your phone and your PC, you should first set the
USB utilities setting to
Connect storage to PC
. For more information,
refer to “USB utilities” on page 90.
Memo
This feature allows you to save and recall memos. You can also
send them via Bluetooth, Email, or Messaging.
Create a memo
1. From the Home screen, tap
Memo
.
2. Tap
Create memo
.
Note:
If this is your first memo, you are automatically taken to the new memo
screen.
3. Compose the memo.
4. Tap
Save
.
The memo will display in the memo list.
Send a memo
1. From the Home screen, tap
Memo
.
2. Touch and hold a Memo in the Memo list.
3. Tap
Send
.
4. Tap
Bluetooth
,
Email
,
Messaging
, or
Wi-Fi
.
Note:
Email will appear as an option only after you have setup your Email
account. For more information, refer to “Using Email” on page78.
5. Enter the recipient information and tap
Send
. For more
