Power Saving Mode
This feature allows you set the phone to automatically switch to
power saving mode when the battery is low and configure
additional power saving options.

From the Home screen, tap
Settings
Power
saving mode
. Tap Use Power saving mode. A check mark
is displayed at the right side and in the status bar to
indicate active status.
To adjust power saving mode:
1. Activate power saving mode (see above).
2. Tap

to assign the “battery low” level at
which the power saving mode is activated (10% battery
power, 30%, 50% or 70%.
To adjust additional power saving settings:
1. Activate power saving mode (see above).
2. Tap any of the available fields to adjust additional power
saving parameters. The following options are available:
• Turn Off Wi-Fi
to disable Wi-Fi transmission when not in use or
actively transmitting data.
• Turn Off Bluetooth
to disable Bluetooth when not in use or
actively transmitting data.
• Turn Off GPS
to disable the GPS location system when not in
use.
• Turn off Sync
to disable the feature when the phone is not
synchronizing with the server.
• Brightness
: allows you to manually adjust the brightness of the
screen. Enable this option to activate the next Brightness option.
• Brightness
: sets the Brightness level of the screen.
• Screen timeout
to adjust the time delay before the screen turns
off when inactive.

Location and Security
The Location and Security settings allow you to configure how the
phone will determine your location and the security settings for
your phone.
Use Wireless Networks
Before you use applications such as Google Maps to find
directions or search for places of interest, you must enable the use
of wireless networks and/or GPS satellites to determine your
position.
