1. After a hardware module has been replaced with a new version, run the service utility
to accept the new configuration. To accept the new firmware, click Update. The
dialog box opens as shown in the screen shot below.
2. Determine whether to update the software.
• To accept the updated module and update the software, select Yes.
Update Monitor shows an update available for the software. Selecting Yes in the
Perform Software Update dialog resets the configuration file to accept the new
Temp Module Ver 1.2 and updates the monitor software.
• To accept the updated module without updating the Monitor Main software,
click No.
• To stop the operation without making any changes to the monitor, click Cancel.
Note the Status messages here. The monitor resets the configuration file to accept
the new module firmware before uploading any software.
Note
Either Yes or No enables the monitor to accept the new module.
