Adjusting Top End XLT Gold Hand Crank
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.5.
Adjusting Hand Crank Height
1. Loosen,butDONOTremovethehexnutsecuringthehandcranktotheforkstem.
2. Loosen,butDONOTremovethetwosetscrewsfortheupperclamp.
3. Movethehandcrankassemblyupordownintheforkneckuntilyouarecomfortable
withthepositionforoperationalpurposes.
NOTE:Thehandcrankshouldbepositionedsothatwhenthehandistowardthefrontofthe
handcycle,thearmisslightlybent.ThearmshouldNEVERbefullyextended(locked)atanypoint
whilecranking.
4. Tightenthehexnuttosecurethehandcrankinthedesiredposition.
5. Tightenthetwosetscrewsontheupperclamp.
6. Tightenthechainifnecessary.RefertoAdjustingSevenSpeedHubChainonpage 55
orAdjustingTwentySevenSpeedCassetteChainonpage 56.
