Proper Fit
ThehandcycleMUSTbeadjustedtofittherider.Foraproperfit:
•TheriderMUSTbeabletoseeoverthehandcrank.
•TheriderMUSThaveaslightlybentelbowwhenthehandpedalsaretowardthefront
ofthehandcycle(farthestfromtheriderʹsface).
•TheriderMUSThaveaslightbendatthekneewhenfeetareinthefootrests.Feet
shouldbeflatagainstfootresthoop.
•XLTSeriesrequiresa18ʹturningradius.Iflegtouchestireduringturnandusercannot
sensethis,alegguardattachmentisrecommended.
•TheriderʹskneesMUSTnotobstructhandcrankoperation.
Checktheseatposition,backangle,quickreleaseonthreadedaxles,footrestfore/aft
position,handcrankheightforproperfitandsmoothoperationofyourhandcycle.
Operating Information
Wearyourhelmetatalltimeswhenridingthehandcycle.
Beforeridingyourhandcycle,checkyourbrakes.Besurethatthebrakesandallother
featuresofyourhandcycleareoperatingproperly.
ALWAYSkeepfingersorhandsawayfromthechainwhilepedaling.
DONOTletchildrenplaynearthehandcrankor
thechain.Otherwise,injuryordamage
