Removing From the Stored Position
1. Rotate the end of the spreader bar 90° toward the opposite side frame.
2. Install threaded end of locking knob into locknut located on the opposite side frame.
Securely tighten both knobs.
Placing In the Stored Position
1. Unthread one locking knob from the side frame.
2. Rotate detached end of the spreader bar 90
o
down toward floor.

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to
FIGURE 11.7.
1. Unthread both locking knobs that
secure the spreader bar to the side
frames.
2. Remove existing spreader bar.
3. Secure new spreader bar to the side
frames with the existing locking knobs.
Securely tighten.

Adjusting the Seat Width and Depth

The seat depth and width directly relates to the stability of the recliner. Any change
may cause the recliner to decrease in stability. This procedure MUST be performed
by a qualified technician.
