COLD WEATHER POWER-UP
Avoid raising the room temperature abruptly
when it is below 57°F, or condensation may
form inside the machine.
1. Raise the room temperature to 68°F at less
than 18°F per hour.
2. Wait for 30 to 60 minutes.
3. Turn the power on.
Do not use the machine near a humidifier.
THUNDERSTORMS
With proper grounding, about 90% of lightning
damage can be prevented. However, if
possible, during severe electric storms turn
the power switch off and disconnect the
power cord and telephone line cord.
Note: All fax messages stored in the mem-
ory may be erased if power is
switched off for more than an hour.
