create dhcp pool
Purpose Used to create a DHCP pool.
Syntax
create dhcp pool <pool_name 12>
Description This command is used to create a DCHP pool for the DHCP server. Once created, this
pool may be modified for accepting DHCP clients into this pool.
Parameters
<pool_name 12> − Enter an name of up to 12 alphanumeric characters to identify the
pool to be created with this command.
Restrictions Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To create the DHCP pool Floor2:
DGS-3426:5#create dhcp pool Floor2
Command:create dhcp pool Floor2
Success.
DGS-3426:5#
delete dhcp pool
Purpose Used to delete a DHCP pool.
Syntax
delete dhcp pool {<pool_name 12> | all}
Description This command is used to delete a DHCP poll that was created with the create dhcp pool
command.
Parameters
<pool_name 12> − Enter an name of up to 12 alphanumeric characters to identify the
pool to be deleted with this command.
all – Enter this command to delete all created DHCP pool.
Restrictions Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To delete the DHCP pool Floor2:
DGS-3426:5#delete dhcp pool Floor2
Command:delete dhcp pool Floor2
Success.
