enable 802.1x
Purpose Used to enable the 802.1X server on the Switch.
Syntax
enable 802.1x
Description This command is used to enable the 802.1X Network Access control server application
on the Switch. To select between port–based or MAC–based, use the config 802.1x
auth_mode command.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable 802.1X switch wide:
DGS–3426:5#enable 802.1x
Command: enable 802.1x
Success.
DGS–3426:5#
disable 802.1x
Purpose Used to disable the 802.1X server on the Switch.
Syntax
disable 802.1x
Description This command is used to disable the 802.1X Network Access control server application
on the Switch. To select between port–based or MAC–based, use the config 802.1x
auth_mode command.
Parameters None.
