6. Insert the long end of the light guide into
the light output of the Leica EL6000. There
must be a noticeable click.

Only use a light guide with a light input
of the type "Storz long", as otherwise
damage to the instrument and danger to the
user can result (risk of being dazzled).

Before you open the shutter, the light
guide must be connected on both
sides. Otherwise, the escaping light can cause
injury to eyes and skin and damage to furni-
ture. Never look into the light escaping from
the light guide!
5. Connect the Leica LA6000 to the power
system using the power cable.
