Leica EL6000 – Connection to the Fluorescence Lamp Housing

Always connect the light guide to the
lamp housing of the stereomicroscope
in order to prevent danger to the user from the
high-energy light.
1. Unscrew the positioning screw and remove
the protective cover of the fluorescence
lamp housing.
2. Insert the adapter into the fluorescence
lamp housing and retighten the locking
screw.
3. Unscrew the three red protective caps on
the light guide.
4. Insert the short end of the light guide into
the lamp housing of the stereomicroscope
as far as it will go.
5. Securely tighten the clamping screw.
