7. When the lamp makes full contact with the
lamp mount, release the lever.
8. Connect the plug of the lamp with the
coupling in the instrument.
Ensure that no wires are touching the reflector
of the lamp.
9. Check to make certain that a heat-absorb-
ing filter has been inserted into the shaft in
order to protect the connected light guide.
10. Close the housing cover and insert the
screws.
