Using the Sling
TheJasminePatientLiftcanbeusedwiththestandardswivelbaroranoptionalcradleattachment.Thetiltingcradle
attachmentenablesasinglecaregivertomoreeasilypositionapatientinanuprightand seatedposition.
UseanInvacareapprovedslingthatisrecommendedbytheindividual’sdoctor,nurseor
medicalassistantforthecomfort
andsafetyoftheindividualbeinglifted.

Operating the Lift
AlthoughInvacarerecommendsthattwoassistantsbeusedforallliftingpreparation,transferringfromandtransferringto
procedures,ourequipmentwillpermitproperoperationbyoneassistant.Theuseofoneassistantisbasedontheevaluation
ofthehealthcareprofessionalforeachindividualcase.
Makesurethereisan
audibleclickwhenmountingbatteryonthebatterychargertoconfirmpropermounting.Otherwise,
injuryordamagemayoccur.
