Checking and Tightening Mast Pivot

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 7.5.

1. Togainaccesstotheattachinghardware,removethecoversthatareoneithersideofthemast.

2. Checkthatthelocknutistightandsecureonthescrew.

3. Ifneeded,dooneormoreofthefollowing:

•Tightenlocknutandback‐offthelocknut1/8

ofaturn.

•Replacethelocknut.
