Installing the Jasmine Scale

The Jasmine Scale MUST be installed in the orientation shown in FIGURE 1. Otherwise, injury may
occur.

1. Alignthehole sinthetoprubbercap,theho lesin theJasminescalemountingbracket andthenylonspacers withtheholesin
theboommountingbracket.Refer
toDetail“A”forhardware orientation.
2. AttachtheJasminescale totheboommountingbracket withascrew,washer,bearings,flatwasherand locknut. RefertoDetail
“A” forhardwareorie ntation.
NOTE:Ensuretheshaftofthescr ewpass esthr oughbothsidesoftheboommount in gbracket.
Installing the Swivel Bar or Cradle Attachment
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 8.2,Detail“B”.
NOTE:Thecradleattachmentattachesinthesamewaytha ttheswivelbarattachestotheJasmineScale.
1. Putthewashersonthe swiv el barpin.
2. Inserttheswivelbarpinthroughthe swivelbar.
3. Aligntheholesintheswiv elbarpin
withtheholeinthebottomoftheJasminescalemo untingbracket.
4. AttachtheswivelbarpintotheJasminescalewithascrewandlocknut.Tightensecurel y.
5. Snapasiderubbercapintoplaceoneac hsideoftheboommountingbracket.

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware is
tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
