This section describes how to write, edit and run programs on the FORMAT 550.
GENERAL OPERATING SEQUENCE - ENTERING A NEW PROGRAM
1.
Write out the program using the FORMAT program preparation sheets.
2.
Select Program from the Main Menu.
3.
Select New Program from the Program Menu.
4.
Enter the program, segment by segment.
5.
Save the program to disk.
GENERAL OPERATING SEQUENCE - RUNNING A PROGRAM
1.
Select Program from the Main Menu.
2.
Select the Load from Disk from the Program Menu.
3.
Select the name of the program to be run.
4.
Enter the number of cycles to be run, and if required, the mid-cycle start, time and de-
layed start time.
5.
Start the program running, select Monitoring from the Main Menu to display the pro-
gram running.
6. When the program has completed return the programmer to the main menu. If no fur-
ther programs are to be run. then switch off the cabinet.
