System draining
Switch off the main power. Disconnect the pipe connected to the cabinet distilled water
inlet and place in suitable vessel or floor drain. Switch on the system, the pump operates
and pumps out the reservoir water. When the water ceases, switch off the power and
reconnect the outlet pipe to the cabinet distilled water inlet. Fill the reservoir with
distilled water to the level shown on the sight tube.
Deioniser replacement
Disconnect from mains power, drain the system as described above, and open the front
panel of the unit. Both types of cartridges are then disconnected from the water pipes
and a new cartridge connected. Refit the front panel and fill the system. The meter type
system cartridge is returnable for regeneration. The colour change type cartridge is
disposable. Refer to the Parts List for details.
