NOTE:Whenadjustingthetelescopingfrontriggingsupportdepth,ensurethefootplatedoesnot
interferewiththecasterwheelrotation.
NOTE:Telescopingfrontriggingsupportsmaybeextendedupto2inchesfromthewheelchair
framein1‐inchincrements.Thisadjustmentdoesnotaffectseatdepth.
NOTE:Wheninstallingthefrontriggingssupporttubes,ensurethatthehingepinsareonthe
outsideofthechairfacingawayfromtheseatframe.
1. Removetheseat.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheSeatAssemblyonpage 42.
2. Removethetwosocketboltsandlocknutsthatsecuretelescopingfrontrigging
supporttotheseatframe.
3. Performoneofthefollowing:
•Adjusting‐Aligntheappropriatemountingholeofthetelescopingfrontrigging
supportwiththefrontmountingholeintheseatframetubestoachievethedesired
depthas
showninFIGURE 9.6.
•Replacing‐
i. Removetheexistingtelescopingfrontriggingsupportfromthewheelchair
frame.
ii. Insertthenewtelescopingfrontriggingsupportintotheseatframe.
iii. Aligntheappropriatemountingholeofthetelescopingfrontriggingsupport
withthefrontmountingholeintheseatframetubestoachievethedesired
depth
asshowninFIGURE 9.6.
NOTE:Thefootplatewillbeontheinsideofthewheelchairwhenlockedinplace.
