Installing/Removing Flip Back Armrests
ƽ WARNING
Make sure the flip back armrest release and height adjustment levers are in the
locked position before using the wheelchair.
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 6.5onpage 38.
NOTE:Flipbackarmrestreleaselevermustbeinunlockedpositionwhenplacingarmrestintothe
armsockets.
Installing
1. Slidetheflipbackarmrestintothearmsocketsonthewheelchairframe.
2. Installthequickreleasepinthroughthereararmsocketandflipbackarmrest.
3. Lockflipbackarmrestbypressingflipbackarmrestreleaseleverintothelocked
(vertical)position.
4. Liftuponflipbackarmresttomakesurethearmrestislockedinplace.
5. RepeatSTEPS1‐4foroppositeflipbackarmrest.
Removing
1. Unlockflipbackarmrestbypullingflipbackarmrestreleaseleverintotheunlocked
(horizontal)position.
2. Removethequickreleasepinthatsecurestheflipbackarmresttothewheelchair
frame.
3. Pullupontheflipbackarmrestandremovethearmrestfromthearmsockets.
4. RepeatSTEPS1‐3fortheoppositeflipbackarmrest,ifnecessary.
