Locale and Text Settings
This setting allows you to configure the language in which to
display the menus and keyboard. You can also set on-screen
keyboard options.

Language Settings
To set the language that the menus and keyboard display on the
phone:
1. Press and then tap (
Settings
)
Locale
and text
Select locale
.
2. Select a language from the list.
On-screen Keypad
This feature, when active, allows you to use either the on-screen
or slide-out QWERTY keyboard to enter text and configure your
text input method.
When deactivated, this feature forces you to use only the slide-out
QWERTY keypad. While deactivated, you are not presented with
an on-screen keypad for use and you can not change the text
input method on-screen.
1. Press and then tap (

2. Tap On-screen keypad to activate or deactivate the feature
(green check mark indicates that it is active).

There are two on-screen input methods available: Swype and
Samsung keypad.
