Bluetooth
3. If you select Automatic, you are connected to the first available network when roaming.
If you select Manual, press the Up or Down Navigation key until the network you want
highlights and then press the Select soft key or .
The phone will scan for that network and you will be connected.
Caller ID
You can prevent your phone number from being displayed on the phone of the person being called.
Note: Some networks do not allow you to change this setting.
The following options are available:
Default: the default setting provided by the network is used.
Hide number: your number does not display on the other person’s phone.
Send number: your number is sent each time you make a call.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology capable of exchanging information
over a distance of about 30 feet without requiring a physical connection.
Unlike infrared, you don't need to line up the devices to beam information with Bluetooth. If the devices
are within a range of one another, you can exchange information between them, even if they are located
in different rooms.
The following Bluetooth options are available:
Turn Bluetooth On/Off
This option allows you to turn Bluetooth On or Off. Make a selection and press the Select soft key
or .
My devices
This option allows you to search for new Bluetooth devices.
1. Highlight Search new device and press the Select soft key or . The phone will search for
available devices.
2. Highlight the device you want and press the Select soft key or .
