Making a Multi-party Call
A multi-party call is a network service that allows up to six people to take part simultaneously in a multi-
party or conference call.
For further details about subscribing to this service, contact your service provider.
To set up a multi-party call:
1. Call the first participant in the normal way.
2. Call the second participant in the normal way. The first call is automatically put on hold.
3. To join the first participant to the multi-party call, press the Options soft key and highlight
Join. Press the Select soft key or .
4. To add a new person to the multi-party call, call the new person in the normal way and then
press the Options soft key or . Highlight Join and press the Select soft key or .
You can add incoming callers by answering the call and pressing the Options soft key and
selecting Join. Repeat as required.
To have a private conversation with one participant:
1. Press the Options soft key and highlight Select one. Press the Select soft key or .
The list of call participants appears.
2. Highlight a person you want to talk privately with by pressing the Up or Down Navigation key,
and press the Options soft key.
3. Highlight Split and press the OK soft key.
Now you can talk only to that person. The other participants can continue to converse with
one another.
4. To return both private participants to the multi-party call, press the Options soft key or
and highlight Join. Press the Select soft key or .
All of the multi-party call participants can now hear one another.
To disconnect one participant:
1. Press the Options soft key and highlight Select one. Press the Select soft key or .
The list of call participants appears.
2. Highlight the person you want to keep.
3. Press the Options soft key and highlight Split. Press the OK soft key.
