Application Icons
The Apps menu provides quick access to the items you use
most frequently.
The following table contains a description of each application.
If the application is already described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that particular section
is provided.
Displays when your phone is connected to a PC
using Kies air.
Displays when your phone is connected to a Digital
Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certified device
using the AllShare Play application.
Displays when Wi-Fi Direct is active or your phone has
been configured as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
Displays when GPS is active and acquiring a signal.
Displays when data synchronization and application
sync is active and synchronization is in progress for
Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts.
Displays when your device is connected being used
to control streaming media and is connected to a
Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certified
device using the AllShare Play application.
Displays when a file is being uploaded or sync’d
between your device and an external Web storage
location.
Displays when the uploaded or transferred file was
successfully delivered.
Displays when the keypad is active.
Displays when you have not yet set up a Samsung
Account.
Displays when an emergency call is taking place.
Displays when NFC (near field communications) is
turned on.
