Keyguard Settings

Use Keyguard Setting to control how your phone locks the

keypad, and set preferences.

Auto Lock

The Auto Lock setting controls whether the external keypad

locks automatically when phone is closed and the backlight

goes off.

1. From the Home screen, press the

Center Select

Key

to select

MENU

2. Use the

Directional Key

to highlight a setting,

then press the

Center Select Key

SET

:

•On

: Enables Auto Lock. The keypad will lock when the

backlight goes out.

•Off

: Disables keyguard. The keypad never locks automatically.

Tip:

You can lock or unlock the keypad manually from any

screen when the phone is closed by pressing and

holding .

Unlock Options

You can customize the keypress sequence to unlock your

phone’s keypad.

1. From the Home screen, press the

2. Use the

Directional Key
