6.3.2 Error check method with monitor signal
Table 6.6 shows description, cause investigation, and corrective action of errors
depending on monitor signal.
: ON, : OFF, *: ON or OFF
POINT
If the safety power supply has not been powered ON, monitor signals that indicate
normal module operation are not displayed. (The fixed pattern shown in Table 6.6
is displayed.)
Check errors with monitor signals after powering ON the safety power supply.
If the same station number is set for the extension module, monitor signals are not
displayed properly.

•Check if the wiring between start-up inputs are
normal.
•Check if the connected start-up switch operates
normally and the wiring is normal.
•Check if setting of the start-up mode is correct.
Safety system 1 does not turn ON.
•Replace the module.
Safety system 2 does not turn ON.
Safety system 1 does not turn OFF.
Safety system 2 does not turn OFF.

The safety input is incorrect.
•Check if the input device connected to the safety
input operates normally and the wiring is normal.

The safety power supply has not

Power ON the safety power supply.
