1. Positionthepatientasfaroverthe

bedaspossible.

NOTE:Ifpatientisbeingtransferredfromasurfacethatislowerthanthebed,presstheuparrow

buttontoraisethepatientabovethesurfaceofthebed.Thepatientshouldbeelevatedjusthigh

enoughtoclearthebedwiththeirweightfullysupportedbythelift.

2. Pressthedownarrowbuttonandlowerthepatientontothebed.
