SECTION 4—FRONT RIGGINGS

After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware is
tightened securely. Otherwise injury or damage may occur.
Installing/Removing Front Riggings
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 4.1.
Installing
1. Turnthefrontriggingassemblytotheside(openfront
riggingisperpendiculartowheelchair).
2. Installthehingeplatesonthefrontriggingassembly
ontothehingepinsonthewheelchairframe.
3. Pushthefrontriggingassemblytowardstheinsideof
thewheelchairuntilitlocksintoplace.
NOTE:Thefootplatewill
beontheinsideofthewheelchairwhen
lockedinplace.
4. Repeatthisprocedurefortheotherfrontrigging
assembly.
5. Toreleasethefrontrigging,pushthefrontrigging
releaseleverinward,rotatefrontriggingoutward.
Removing
1. Pushthefrontriggingreleaseleverinward
2. Rotateswingawayfrontriggingassemblyoutward.
3. Lifttheswingawayfrontriggingassemblyoffthehinge
pins.

1. Removethefrontriggingassembly.RefertoInstalling/RemovingFrontRiggings
onpage 19.
NOTE:Laythefrontriggingassemblyonaflatsurfacetosimplifythisprocedure.
2. Pullthecamlockleveruptounlockedposition.
NOTE:Theelevatinglegresthastwosetsofreleasebuttons,onesetabovetheother.Eachsetwillbevisibleoneatatimeallowingfiner
footplate
heightadjustment.
3. Pushinthereleasebuttonsandrepositionthefootplateassemblytothedesiredheight.
4. Ensurethatthereleasebuttonsfullyprotrudefromholesonbothsidesofthefrontriggingsupport.
5. Rotatecamlockleverdowntolockedposition.
6. Repeatthisprocedurefortheotherfootplate,ifnecessary.
7. Reinstalltheswingaway
frontriggingassembly.RefertoInstalling/RemovingFrontRiggingsonpage 19.
