Be aware that carrying heavy objects on your lap or
on the accessory hooks while occupying the personal
transporter may adversely affect the stability of the
personal transporter, resulting in serious bodily injury
to the user, damage to the personal transporter and
surrounding property.
This personal transporter has been designed to
accommodate one individual. If more than one
individual occupies the personal transporter this
may adversely affect the stability of the personal
transporter, resulting in serious bodily injury to the
user and passenger and damage to the personal
transporter and surrounding property.
Do determine and establish your particular safety
limits by practicing bending, reaching and transferring
activities in the presence of a qualified healthcare
professional before attempting active use of the
personal transporter.
WARNING!
Many activities require the personal transporter
user to reach, bend and transfer in and out of the
personal transporter. These movements will cause a
change to the normal balance, center of gravity, and
weight distribution of the personal transporter. To
determine and establish your particular safety limits,
practice bending, reaching and transferring activities
in several combinations in the presence of a qualified
healthcare professional before attempting active use
of the personal transporter.
DO NOT stand on anywhere on the personal
transporter (frame, footboard, etc..).
To assure stability and proper operation of your personal
transporter, you must at all times maintain proper balance. Your
personal transporter has been designed to remain upright and stable
during normal daily activities as long as you DO NOT move beyond
the center of gravity. DO NOT lean forward out of the personal
transporter any further than the length of the armrests.
Coping with Everyday Obstacles
Coping with the irritation of everyday obstacles can be somewhat
alleviated by learning how to manage your personal transporter.
Keep in mind your center of gravity to maintain stability and balance.
