SECTION 11—OPTIONS
ƽ WARNING
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware is
tightened securely. Otherwise injury or damage may occur.
The I.V./O2 holder MUST be checked weekly to ensure it is tightly secured to the wheelchair
frame. If there is any looseness whatsoever, tighten the attachment hardware securely before
using.
I.V. HOLDER ONLY - Make sure the I.V. holder is tightly locked before placing I.V. medication
on the pole.
The I.V. pole is designed to support I.V. medication only. DO NOT use it to support objects
other than I.V. medication.
Installing/Removing the I.V. Holder
Installing
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 11.1onpage42.
1. Removetheantitipperfromthewheelchair.RefertoInstalling/AdjustingAntitippers
onpage 38.
2. InstallthemountingtubeoftheI.V.holderontothesteptube(Detail“A”).
3. Pressthereleasebuttoninandinserttheantitipperintothesteptubeuntilthereleasebuttonlocksintheholeonthe
bottomofthesteptube(Detail“B”).
4. Removethetopmountingscrewthat
securesthebackupholsterytothebackcane(Detail“C”).
5. SecuretheI.V.holderandbackupholsterytothebackcaneusingthemountingscrewremovedinSTEP4(Detail“C”).
Removing
1. Pressthereleasebuttoninandremovetheantitipper(Detail“B).
2. RemovethemountingscrewthatsecurestheI.V.holderandbackupholsterytothebackcane(Detail“C”).
3. RemovethemountingtubeoftheI.V.holderoffofthesteptube(Detail“A ) .
4. Installtheanti‐tipper.RefertoInstalling/Adjusting

5. SecurethebackupholsterytothebackcanewiththemountingscrewremovedinSTEP1(Detail“C”).
Adjusting the Height of the I.V. Holder

1. LoosentheheightadjustmentknobontheI.V.holder(Detail“D”).
2. AdjusttheI.V.poletothedesiredheight(Detail“D”).
3. Retightentheheightadjustmentknob(Detail“D”).
