Adjusting Quick-Release Axle

Make sure detent pin and detent balls of the quick-release axles are fully released before
operating the wheelchair.
Keep detent balls clean.

1. Pushinthequickreleaseaxlebuttonandpullthequickreleaseaxlewithrearwheeloutoftheaxleluginthewheelchair
frame(FIGURE 7.1).
2. Pushinthequickreleaseaxlebutton againandpullthequickreleaseaxleout
oftherearwheel(FIGURE 7.1).
3. Releasequickreleaseaxlebuttonandensurethatthedetentballsarefullyreleased(FIGURE 7.2).
4. Increaseordecreaseplaybyadjustingthelocknutontheendofthequick‐releaseaxle.
