If the meter does not display a message after inserting a
test strip:
If the test does not start after applying the sample:
POSSIBLE CAUSE WHAT TO DO
Insufficient blood sample Repeat the test with a new test strip
and a larger sample, making sure
blood is placed to the narrow channel
in the top edge of the test strip.
Defective test strip Repeat the test with a new
test strip.
Sample applied after auto- Repeat the test with a new test
