Adjusting Footplate Angle
1. Loosen,butDONOTremovethefourflatscrewsandlocknutsthatsecurethe
footplatetothetwofootresttubes.
2. Positionthefootplatetothenecessaryangletoaccommodatetheuser.
3. Retightenthefourflatscrewsandlocknuts.
NOTE:Thelocknutsshouldlieinthechannelofthefootplatehalfclamp.
Adjusting Footplate Depth
1. Loosen,butDONOTremovethefourflatscrewsandlocknutsthatsecurefootplate
tothefootresttubes.
NOTE:Observetheangleoffootplateforreinstallation.
2. Movethefootplatetooneoftwopositionstoaccommodatetheuser.
3. Retightenthefourflatscrewsandlocknuts.
NOTE:Thesettingsforpositioningthefootplateson
thehalf‐clampsmayvaryforeachenduser.
NOTE:Thelocknutsshouldlieinthechannelofthefootplatehalfclamp.
Installing the X-Terminator Footrest
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 7.4.
1. Installthetwohalfclampsontoeithersideofthewheelchairframeapproximately2
inchesabovetheexistingfootrestwithtwoprovidedallenscrews.
2. Repeatfortheoppositesideofthewheelchair.
3. Slidetheclamponraisedfootrestintothehalfclampstothedesired
height.
4. Securelytightenthefourallenscrews.
