After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
Adjusting the Back Height
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 8.1.
NOTE:Backcanesmustbeadjustedtothesameheight.
NOTE:Takenoteofthepositionandorientationofthebackcanemountinghardwarebefore
removing.Thefolddownbackcanesusetwo(2)mountingscrewstosecurethetwo(2)backcanes
tothewheelchairframe,theadjustableanglebackcanesusefour(4)mountingscrews.
1. Removethemountingscrewsandlocknutsthatsecurethetwo(2)backcanestothe
backcanemountingtube.
2. Repositionthebackcanestothedesiredheightadjustmentpositionasshownin
FIGURE 8.1.
3. Reinstallthemountingscrewsandlocknutsthatsecurethebackcanestothebackcane
mountingtubeandsecurelytighten.
