Locatedatthefrontofthejoystickhousing.Thisprovideseasyaccessforchargingthe
wheelchairbatteries.ThisportalsoservesastheRemoteProgrammerCommunication
connection.
On/Off Toggle Switch
Thistoggleswitchislocatedatthebackof
thejoystickhousing.
Speed Control Knob
Thespeedcontrolknobislocatedonthe
backofthejoystickhousing.Thisrotary
switchisusedforcontrollingthespeed
andaccelerationofthewheelchair.
1. Turntheknobclockwisetoincreasethe
speedofthewheelchair.
2. Turntheknobcounterclockwiseto
decreasethespeedofthewheelchair.

Joystick
Thejoystickhasproportionaldrivecontrol,meaningthatfurtherthewheelchairis
pushedfromtheupright(neutral)position,thefasteritmoves.Yourtopspeed,however,
islimitedbythesettingofthespeed‐controlknobandprogrammedsettings.
Toslowthewheelchairtoastop,simplyreleasethejoystick.Thewheelchairhas
automaticspeedanddirectioncompensationtominimize corrections.
Information Gauge Display
Locatedonthefrontofthejoystickhousing,itprovidesthefollowinginformationtothe
useronthestatusofthewheelchair:
•PowerisOn.
• Truestate‐of‐battery‐charge,includingnotificationofwhenthebatteryrequires
charging:
A. GREENLEDislit,indicatingwellchargedbatteries.
B. OnlyAMBERLEDsarelit,indicatingbatteriesaremoderatelycharged.Recharge
batteriesbeforetakingalongtrip.
C. OnlyREDLEDislit,indicatingbatteriesarerunningoutofcharge.Recharge
batteriesassoonaspossible.
