SECTION 11—TRANSPORTING
ƽ WARNING
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
Before performing any maintenance, adjustment or service, turn power off and
remove key from ignition.
DO NOT lift the scooter by the rear shroud - otherwise damage to the scooter may
occur.
Transporting the Scooter
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 11.1onpage 43.
Disassembling
1. Turnpoweroffandremovethekeyfromtheignition.
2. Removeanyinstalledaccessories.
3. Removetheseat.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheSeatonpage 27.
4. Removethebatteries.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheBatteriesonpage 35.
5. Disconnectthetillerwiringconnectorfromthecontrollerwiringconnector
(Detail“A”).
6. Holdtheseatpostwithonehand.
7. Withtheotherhand,pushthereleaselevertotherearofthescooter(Detail“A”).
8. Lifttheseatposttoseparatethefrontframeassemblyfromtherearframeassembly
pins.
9. Foldtillerdowntolowestlockedposition.RefertoAdjustingtheTillerAngleon
page 31.
Assembling
1. Unfoldtiller.RefertoAdjustingtheTillerAngleonpage 31.
2. Positiontherearframebetweenthecurvedlockingbracketsofthefrontframe
assembly.
3. Holdtheseatpostandalignthecurvedlockingbracketsonthefrontframeassembly
withtherearframeassemblypins.
4. Whileholdingtheseatpost,slowlylowerthefrontframeassemblyontotherearframe
assemblypinsuntilthereleaseleverlocks.
5. Connectthetillerwiringconnectortothecontrollerwiringconnector.
